More about me...Professional Qualifications
I am a qualified Counsellor and a Member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and have been in private practice for over eight years. I also conduct research into group practice on behalf of the NHS and the Metanoia Institute.
Originally from New York, I re-located to the UK in 1989 and have been based in London since then. For twenty years, I was engaged with a variety of challenging and difficult roles in the business world, acquiring a Masters of Business Administration (MBA)in 1993. Having moved countries and cultures, I bring to my practice many years of practical experience gained in the commercial hubbub of two big exciting yet challenging cities, New York and London.
What I do.
I work with individuals, couples and groups. The therapy I provide addresses a broad spectrum of clients presenting a variety of challenging issues. Stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, loss. Stress at work, moving jobs, losing jobs. Falling in love or falling out of love, or losing someone you love. Growing older or simply growing up...at any age. Life changes and when life changes things are no longer the same and you need to change. I have helped many people weather life's changes. I can help you change.
